State Disaster Recovery Center Converts to Disaster Loan Outreach Center
Posted on June 21st, 2011
A new ‘U.S. Small Business Administration Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC)’ will be formed after transitioning the ‘Federal and State Disaster Recovery Center’ at Three Rivers Community Center. The transition will happen on June 20th and the new DLOC will stay open through June 29th.
SBA representatives at DLOC will make it possible for businesses, renters and homeowners to file SBA disaster loan applications. The attendants will also answer questions about loan programs and explain how disaster loans can help them recover from disaster losses. Loans seekers who cannot make it to the center can contact directly by calling at 1-800-659-2955 or by coming online.
Homeowners can find low interest loans up to $200,000 so as to fix or replace damaged real estates. Homeowners and renters can find up to $40,000 from the SBA to fix damages to personal property. Private nonprofit organizations can borrow up to $2 million to fix and replace machinery, equipment, real estate, inventory and other assets.
