Sarasota author Dave Kahle’s “How to Sell Anything to Anyone Anytime” has been noted as among the best business books by three publications, according to a statement from Kahle.
The April 2011 edition of Next, a customer magazine by PriceWaterhouseCoopers, called it one of the top five business books.
Handelsblatt, a leading German business newspaper, named it one of the top five business books.
WirtschaftsBlatt, Austria’s daily financial newspaper, named it one of the top 10 business books in English.
Manatee author tells of caregiving
Manatee County resident Oliver J. DeSofi has published his second book, “Caregiving: My Story, Your Guide,” telling of his experiences and what he learned in 24 years of caring for his wife, who had multiple sclerosis.
Rectrix Aerodrome is Pilot’s Choice
Rectrix Aerodrome Centers received a 2011 Pilot’s Choice award for its center in Sarasota. The center has private passenger terminals and lounges, aircrew amenities, superior service and full aircraft handling services, according to a Rectrix statement.
